LIDAR research post in Teagasc

As part of a EPA funded project, “Desk study towards a national biomass inventory for the Land Use Land use change & Forestry, LULUCF sector using LIDAR remote sensing” Teagasc is seeking a LIDAR Specialist.

The candidate will be working on examining the suitability of LIDAR to measure the biomass content of hedgerows. The position will be based in the Rural Economy and Devleopment Programme, Teagasc Food Research Centre, Ashtown, Dublin 15. The project involves external partners and it is expected that some travel and field visits will be required.
