All Ireland PhD opportunities in Ag Remote Sensing

Each year the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs for Northern Ireland (DAERA) offers a limited number of Postgraduate Studentships for a three year period of research leading to a PhD qualification at a University in the United Kingdom (UK) or Republic of Ireland (ROI).

The 2017 Competition for Studentship Applications is now open. Funding is provided for full-time students only.

One of the priority Themes this year is

• Research to consider the potential for use of remote sensing technologies in agricultural schemes.

Interestingly the application is student lead. The student identifies a research topic, an institution/supervisor and then make the application (in reality any potential supervisor will give assistance in the application)

Any potential students with a good idea, you can contact me and maybe progress
