Ideas wanted for new Irish satellite

From Lorraine Hanlon, UCD:

Open Workshop – Irish Small Satellite Programme Call for Ideas

Further to the recent Call from the Irish Space Industry Group [ISIG] for ideas and opinions on an Irish national small satellite programme, we would like to announce an afternoon workshop to discuss the opportunity and form collaborative responses. The objective is that participants get a clear understanding of the call and response to it and also to get an opportunity to identify areas of potential collaboration with other participants from academia, research and industry. All are welcome to attend.

Date: Thursday March 10th 2016 Time: 3.00pm – 5.00pm Location: Room 2.38, Second Floor Science Hub, UCD O’Brien Centre for Science

Please register for the workshop by emailing: satellite@irishspaceindustrygroup.com The meeting is hosted by UCD Space Science and will be facilitated by Dr Ronan Wall, ISIG Secretary & UCD Physics Adjunct Lecturer in Space Science.
