Irish Earth Obs Symposium 2017

The theme of this year’s IEOS meeting, held in Maynooth University, is strengthening the linkages between Researchers, Technologists, Service-Providers and End-Users in order to enable more effective exploitation of Copernicus Earth observation (EO) data & information services across Ireland.

This year’s event will be different in that Day-1 (2nd Nov 2017) will be dedicated to highlighting and presenting Earth Observation projects from Researchers, Government Agencies and Industry whilst Day-2 (3rd Nov 2017) will be dedicated to EU’s Copernicus programme with special emphasis on Land, Marine, Emergency and Climate Change Services within an Irish context

Call for presentations

We invite short abstracts in any area of Earth Observation and in particular dealing with the themes of:

  • Land Use/Land Cover
  • Precision Agriculture
  • Forestry Inventory
  • Urban Development
  • Coastal Management
  • Maritime Monitoring
  • Climate Change
  • Emergency Management

If you are interested in submitting a papers/Poster please send a short 300 word abstract to “presentations@ieos2017.com” and outline if you wish to present a talk or poster.

Shortlisted papers will be invited to present at the Symposium and/or provide a Poster.
